NaturDetektive is a multimedia project of the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) aiming at making children and teenagers but also grow-ups interested in the nature of their native land. Here you can find tasks you can solve in nature. You can publish your results, experiences and ideas online at NaturDetektive. Each year, NaturDetektive offers twelve topics to take part in. In addition, there are numerous competitions with lots of prizes waiting for the winners.

Econautix is probably the largest German environmental portal for young people. When you roam through the various areas of Econautix.de, you will quickly notice that environmental protection is important, but it can also be lots of fun. Besides an extensive environmental encyclopaedia, you can try to save the world in the online adventure of "Die Econauten – Flucht in die verbotene Zone" ("The Econauts – Fleeing to the Forbidden Zone").

The Greenpeace youth groups, the so-called Greenteams, have cooked up the "Kids for Forest" project. Those who pass their rain forest test will become a rain forest ambassador and receive a corresponding membership card. Everybody is invited to join the numerous events to take part in and actively contribute to saving the last remaining rain forests. Apart from current information about events and campaigns, the website also offers extensive background information and material about the topic. "What do schools have to do with the rain forest?"
